Analysis conducted by the Warwickshire Observatory for the Priority Crime meeting on the 22.9.09 of non-night time town centre or domestic violence, highlighted no significant pattern of incidents and types of violence committed around the Borough. This indicates that pro active police teams focusing on violence and resources seem to be in the correct places at the moment. EPI (Enhanced Policing Initiative) of the night time economy and the Domestic Abuse project continue. |

A multi agency triage event took place in Nuneaton Town Centre on the evening of 19th December. Evaluation is being conducted ,but initial responses point to a successful event where revellers were willing to engage with agencies on the dangers of too much alcohol and personal safety information. |

(Actual 0.09) N&B have been receiving a monthly breakdown of NI 15 incidents to monitor if a pattern can be established i.e., if incidents are occuring at a particular licenced premises action can be taken. This information is forwarded to Insp Chris Walton chair of the Priority Crime Group. Following the county wide monthly conference calls this practice has now been adopted county wide whilst NI 15 remains a concern. |
