Councillor Matt Grant is the Portfolio Holder for Housing.The portfolio holder for Housing is responsible for overseeing the Council's housing stock, assessing and reviewing the housing needs of the area and secure so far as possible a provision of housing stock that meets that need, fulfilling the Council's statutory obligations in regard to homelessness, undertaking the provision of grants renovation and for the adaptation of property for disabled people and ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness and economy in relation to the services within his/her terms of reference, including monitoring budgets, service development plans, best value and establishment change.
