Description
Councillor Gwynne Pomfrett is the Portfolio Holder for Central Services.The portfolio holder for Central Services is responsible for:- Human Resource Services, including payroll, personnel, health and safety, training of employees, and equal opportunities.- Legal and Democratic Support Services including support to Members and committees, electoral registration and elections, licensing and public entertainment and legal services.- Information Technology and Communications including the Council's information and communications system, printing, telecommunications, delivery systems and graphic design.- Marketing and promotion of the Council's activities, services and events. - Corporate property maintenance, cleaning and servicing (e.g. Town Hall, Riverside, Council House, Depot, etc.) including porters and refreshments.- Corporate Customer Services.- Transformation Agenda.- Equalities.
