Councillor David Bryden is the Portfolio Holder for Planning and Development.The portfolio holder for Planning and Development is responsible for promoting and encouraging the economic development and regeneration of the borough, developing and reviewing priority neighbourhood strategies for creating and sustaining employment opportunities, promoting and encouraging tourism in the borough and ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness and economy in relation to the services within his/her terms of reference, including monitoring budgets, service development plans, best value and establishment change.
